Jeff Wright

Jeff Wright is a career transformation expert with a passion for progress. He began his professional journey at age 22 in commercial broadcast operations, where a knack for improvement propelled him from radio to television to working at a leading-edge satellite uplink. While refining operational workflows, Jeff discovered quality improvement principles—an introduction that would shape the trajectory of his career. Certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ), he transitioned out of broadcasting and into the field of performance improvement. In 2001, Jeff relocated to the Washington, D.C. area and joined the United States Coast Guard (USCG) as a civilian internal Organizational Performance Consultant (OPC). Over the next 12 years, he honed his facilitation, analysis, and presentation skills while helping CG offices nationwide define and elevate their processes. His mission was simple yet powerful: “Help CG organizations understand what they do—and how they can do it better.” After moving to Chesapeake, Virginia, Jeff became part of an elite process improvement team of Six Sigma Black Belts. He earned his own certification and began supporting financial process optimization at the Coast Guard Finance Center (FINCEN). Later, Jeff served as USCG-FINCEN’s Training Coordinator and Education Services Officer (ESO), where his improvement journey evolved beyond systems and structures to focus on people—empowering growth through. education, insight, and leadership. ​
